Samis Kitchen

Sami’s Kitchen is a full-line food service company and does catering for corporate events, church organizations and private schools in Houston, TX. We also operate full service cafeterias and managed food services for major healthcare and industrial companies. On the retail side we operate branded franchised deli operations in high-rise office buildings, hospitals and malls. Our partner, Gem Foods is a major contractor for airline companies for making their in-flight meals using their USDA permitted commissary kitchen located in Richmond, Texas. Our cafeteria management system ranges from cooking and serving meals on-site for larger clients that has full permitted on-site kitchen to delivering boxed hot food/deli, prepared at our commissary kitchens to smaller locations.

Sami started the company fifteen years ago after getting burnt out from his corporate engineering job. In this next phase of his career he started operating franchised deli that he conceptualized. Initially he focused on the middle class office goers working in high rise office building as the niche clientele. This offered a great platform for learning the fast food business serving a very diverse crowd.

Slowly this deli concept was scaled up to operate full size hospital and corporate cafeterias. The cafeteria style food operation included a top line deli packaged with made to order grill items, salads and hot food entrees.
Thereafter, the concept was further expanded to include on-site cooking for major corporate events, tail –gate parties and social outreach events. Today the company also operates multiple school cafeterias for some prominent Houston-Sugarland area private schools.
As the company is situated today, we are completely equipped and capable of catering to all your food service needs, small or large. We specialize in desk-top cuisine. We routinely cater to clients by offering “out-of-the box” menu items to fit the party pleasers. We take pride in offering food solutions for people with very specific dietary needs like Vegan, Jewish kosher or Muslim halal.
We strive to be your unique food service vendor by packaging your employee coffee station, pantry, kitchen and office luncheon supplies in our list of delivered goods offering. We could also get a vending system and ATM machine on your site
Our menu offering is very diverse and includes all mainstream popular varieties along with generous potions of nutritional items, keeping our customers healthy diet in mind. Menus are offered to the site management on a weekly basis highlighting the hot food offering and all packaged specials. A daily substitute is also available for our vegetarian clientele. We only use cholesterol free vegetable oil for our cooking and avoid using any nut products in due respect to people that might be sensitive to nuts for their allergy.
We own and operate our temperature controlled food delivery trucks for transporting either raw or prepared food in line with health service guidelines. We only use first class vendors like Sysco and Sam’s Club to purchase our inventory. Bakery and produce is delivered to all our locations on a daily basis to ensure the freshness. Each managed location is staffed with a certified food service manager in order to abide by the required city/county ordinance.
We are financially very solvent and are nicely positioned in current market situation to handle all food service opportunities and deliver a simple solution that is intelligent and yet economically prudent. We take pride and consider ourselves as a unique company that actually provides generous pay back to our corporate cafeteria clients as part of contracted revenue sharing.
